This page really showcases Katsura’s masterful use of screentones which is now essentially a lost art, combining multiple layers to achieve incredible depth, intricacy, texture, and realism, while using the blue pencil to soften the edges and blend them in perfectly for the finished product, i.e. printed pages. It is safe to say that Katsura is one of the most artistically-impressive manga authors in the history, if not the most, and the work just have to be seen in person to be fully appreciated!
