Depicting a memorable scene when Lieutenant Slegger Law is introducing himself to the crew, playing a role of a stereotypical handsome, hardboiled, laid back but caring blonde and blue-eyed American military officer, much like Mickey from Area 88.
Tomino allegedly asked Yasuhiko to make Slegger resemble Sylvester Stallone from the Rocky series, but that apparently confused Yasuhiko who has not yet seen Rocky at the time.
